About Elmham
Surgery Patient Participation Group |

The Elmham Surgery Patient Participation Group
is an independent group, set up by patients, to
act as a forum where ideas for improvements can
be discussed with doctors and surgery staff.
Meetings, which take
place every two months, provide both doctors and patients of Elmham Surgery with
the means to exchange views on problems and possible solutions. Individual
complaints are not discussed: there is an established procedure, which is
handled by the surgery manager.
The group has about 15
members at any given time. These are drawn from a sample of different areas
(Elmham Surgery serves more than 30 villages) and are selected to reflect, as
far as possible, the division of sexes and different age groups.
Meetings are held on a
Thursday evening, at 7.30 p.m., in Elmham School during the months of February,
April, June, August, October and December. The precise dates are posted in
reports of the Group's meetings which appear on this website, in parish
magazines and the surgery newsletters.
