About Elmham Surgery Patient Participation Group

The Elmham Surgery Patient Participation Group is an independent group, set up by patients, to act as a forum where ideas for improvements can be discussed with doctors and surgery staff.

Meetings, which take place every two months, provide both doctors and patients of Elmham Surgery with the means to exchange views on problems and possible solutions. Individual complaints are not discussed: there is an established procedure, which is handled by the surgery manager.

The group has about 15 members at any given time. These are drawn from a sample of different areas (Elmham Surgery serves more than 30 villages) and are selected to reflect, as far as possible, the division of sexes and different age groups.

Meetings are held on a Thursday evening, at 7.30 p.m., in Elmham School during the months of February, April, June, August, October and December. The precise dates are posted in reports of the Group's meetings which appear on this website, in parish magazines and the surgery newsletters.
