We are a small group of volunteers whose main objective is to liaise between local patients and the Doctors, Nurse-Practitioners and other medical staff at the Surgery. We facilitate the informal discussion of any concerns and suggestions for improvements, for the mutual benefit of both the patients and the Practice.
Evening meetings are held every two months at Lincoln House Care Home, and are attended by the Practice Manager, Judith Wood, who updates us on recent developments and notes any problems and complaints that we may report. A Doctor or a Nurse-Practitioner also attends, providing further valuable input. Confirmed minutes of our meetings are posted on the Practice website and may be seen at the Surgery, Swanton Morley Stores and the Village Hall. Copies are also sent to the Parish Clerk and they are circulated for Councillors to read.
We welcome comments from fellow patients, whether complimentary, or otherwise, and the Practice finds this feed back very helpful. We should be delighted if any new, younger members from the village and Robertson Barracks would like to join us, so that all age ranges are represented.
