Norfolk Registration Services

The registration service team registers the landmark events in our lives: births, deaths, civil marriages and partnerships. As well, as offering ceremonies for couples getting married or forming a civil partnership, our naming and renewal of vows ceremonies are becoming increasingly popular.

For an appointment to register a birth or death you can book online via their website at anytime or telephone the customer services centre on 0344 800 8020 Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.

Community Car Scheme

Community Car Schemes provide transport for essential journeys for people in the local area who do not have access to a car and where public transport is not suitable. The main journeys provided are to hospitals, GP surgeries, Dentists, opticians and other essential medical appointments.

Norfolk Blue Badge Scheme

A ‘Blue Badge’ is a disabled parking permit that allows people who are registered blind, or those with severe mobility issues easier access to public facilities.

Norfolk County Council’s aim is to ensure everyone who is eligible can receive a Blue Badge with ease, and people and organisations who fraudulently use them are prosecuted.
