What is Accurx?
As from October 1st 2025 online triage requests will be available via our website from 8am until 6.30pm.
To ensure the best, safe care for you and your family, this practice offers non-urgent/routine online consultations requests, medication queries and admin requests during opening hours (8am to 6.30pm)
You can also continue to submit urgent care requests online however once we have reached safe capacity you will then only have the option of submitting routine, non-urgent and admin requests.
If you do require an urgent appointment after we can no longer offer online requests, then please call the surgery on 01362 668215 or call 111 or in an emergency call 999
For all non-urgent requests, please be advised that we may not respond until the following day and you may be signposted to access care elsewhere where appropriate.
- Pharmacies are now able to see patients with coughs, colds, sore throats, earaches, infected insect bites, impetigo.
- The Walk in Centre in Norwich is open (7am to 9pm) for all acute minor illnesses and injuries.
- GP Front Door - this service can be found at the NNUH and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn.
- Community Urgent Eyecare Service, who deal with all sore, red, or painful eyes, loss of vision or foreign body in eyes.
We aim to respond to all medical requests within 48 hours. If you cannot access the internet, or do not have a smartphone, you can call the surgery. We will then complete the online triage form for you on your behalf. Alternatively, paper copies of the form can be found in reception at the surgery.
Make sure you provide us with as much information as possible, to help us help you.
Please be aware, that depending on the nature of your problem, you may be offered an appointment on the day or receive a phone call from the triage team. If you know you will be inaccessible then make sure you complete the section on the form, were it asks the best times to contact you.
Our practice now uses AI Clinical Note Support. This means that the consultation will be briefly recorded to create notes for our system. If you wish to object, please let reception know.
