Online triage requests are available via our website from 8am until 6.30pm.
By using the online triage form you can request urgent, non-urgent/routine appointments, submit medication queries and admin requests during opening hours (8am to 6.30pm) however once we have reached safe capacity you will then only have the option of submitting routine, non-urgent and admin requests.
If you do require an urgent appointment after we can no longer offer online requests, then please call the surgery on 01362 668 215 if we are unable to deal with your request you can visit NHS 111 or call 111 or in the event of an emergency call 999
Please be advised that for all non-urgent requests, we may not respond until the following day, and you may be signposted to access care elsewhere where appropriate.
- Pharmacies are now able to see patients with coughs, colds, sore throats, earaches, infected insect bites, impetigo.
- The Walk in Centre in Norwich is open (7am to 9pm) for all acute minor illnesses and injuries.
- GP Front Door - this service can be found at the NNUH and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn.
- Community Urgent Eyecare Service, who deal with all sore, red, or painful eyes, loss of vision or foreign body in eyes.
We aim to respond to all medical requests within 24 hours. If you cannot access the internet, or do not have a smartphone, you can call the surgery. We will then complete the online triage form for you on your behalf.
Make sure you provide us with as much information as possible, to help us help you.
Please be aware, that depending on the nature of your problem, you may be offered an appointment on the day or receive a phone call from the triage team. If you know you will be inaccessible then make sure you complete the section on the form, were it asks the best times to contact you.
Our practice now uses AI Clinical Note Support. This means that the consultation will be briefly recorded to create notes for our system. If you wish to object, please let reception know

What is Anima?
Anima is a secure online platform that allows you to contact you GP surgery for medical or administrative help directly to our team from your phone, tablet, or computer. Anima is NHS-approved and it is designed to make accessing care easier, faster, and more convenient. Everything goes straight to our triage team, ensuring your request is reviewed and actioned as efficiently as possible.
If you call reception, our team will go through the exact same questions with you over the phone, using Anima on your behalf – so whether you submit it yourself or call us, the process is the same.
You can use Anima to:
- Request medical advice or treatment
- Ask for administrative help (e.g. sick notes, test results)
- Track the progress of your request
- Communicate securely with the practice
You can continue to book your routine blood tests, annual reviews or anything else a Health Care Assistant or Practice Nurse can see you for via our Online Services or by calling our reception team.

Do I need an account to use Anima?
No, you can now submit a request without creating an account. However, registering an account, allows you to track your requests and view past submissions.
What if I can’t use the internet?
Our reception team can help you submit an Anima request over the phone or in person.
When is Anima available?
Anima is open Monday to Friday during surgery hours 8am until 6.30pm. It may close early if we reach safe capacity for the day.
How quickly will I get a response?
Urgent requests are reviewed the same day. Routine queries may take a few days. You’ll receive updates via text and email.
Can I use Anima for repeat prescriptions?
No. Please continue to request prescriptions through the NHS App or your usual method.
Is Anima secure?
Yes. Anima meets NHS data protection standards and encrypts all data. Only verified NHS staff can access your information.
What kind of issues can I submit through Anima?
You can submit:
