Important Patient Notice -  New Way of Working

 

From the 2nd September every request for a GP/NP  appointment will be reviewed by a GP/NP and an assessment of the clinical urgency of your problem will be made.  

You will then be offered an appointment to best match your clinical condition within a safe timescale. All requests for appointments will be made using a standard form.

This form is available on our website and will be our preferred method of contacting us.

However, if you cannot access the  internet, or do not have a smartphone, you can call us after 10am. The receptionist will then complete the form on your behalf.

  • When filling out the form please ensure you provide us with as much information possible so we can make sure you get the help that’s right for you.
  • We believe that the efficiencies created by adopting this new way of working will over time reduce wait times for medical appointments.
  • Please can we ask that you are patient whilst we are in this transition period.
  • Our clinical team is working extra hard behind the scenes to address the existing workload.
